Sushoo Health Information Exchange Integration
DoctorsPartner EMR has the Sushoo HIE running in the background. This engine allows you to simply and securely share patient data, in a HIPAA compliant manner over the internet, with another physician or care giving organization.
You can authorize another entity (for example a specialist you refer patients to, a PCP who referred a patient to you, a nursing home, an assisted living facility etc.) to see a particular patient's record, and it will be made immediately available to them. You can get the Sushoo network to send them a username and password to access this record. Any time you give them access to a new record, Sushoo will automatically email a notification to them so they can log in to see their records.
